Bhagat Singh
Bhagat singh did M.F.A. in painting from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 1992. In 1999, he held his first solo show at New Delhi followed by one in Triveni Gallery in 2000. Apart from his solo shows, he has participated in many group shows and workshops such as Ist All India Exhibition Rendezvous, Chandigarh in 1999; Unipace Art Exhibition Garhi Art Gallery, New Delhi in 2001. Bhagat has received National Scholarship for the years 1994-96. He is a recipient of AIFACS award in 1997 and a Merit Certificate from Ist All India Art Exhibition Rendezvous, Punjab in 1999. His works have beautiful colours and imagery and can be found in many private collections in India and abroad.
